The trial was run in light woodland with bramble and bracken. A steady supply of birds came to hand and all the dogs had similar ground having an equal chance to show off what they could do. The winning dogs showed superb hunting and retrieving ability. We were very honoured to have the two excellent judges from Scotland who helped to make it an enjoyable day and the trial was run in a very sporting atmosphere.
